Unsubscribe from product updates

Opt-in by default, how to leave, and where to read updates without email.

Use the unsubscribe link in any update email, or change it in your portal account settings.

You probably were not subscribed

Product update emails are opt-in. Posting or voting does not sign you up for a newsletter — the vendor's default is auto-subscription, and it is deliberately switched off.

Update emails are also disabled entirely until at least ten people have opted in, because a broadcast to three subscribers is not a broadcast. In practice, if you are receiving product updates from TOVIO, you asked for them.

What unsubscribing does not stop

Notifications on your own posts: someone asking a clarifying question, or your post being marked Shipped. Those are separate, and they are usually the ones worth keeping.

Reading updates without email

Product updates are published on the portal and available by RSS. The changelog on the documentation site is the system of record — the portal copy is published after the documentation deploy and never contains anything the changelog does not — so following the changelog is the most complete option and the earliest one.

The public roadmap carries statuses only. It publishes no dates and no estimates, deliberately, and no linked engineering item carries a target date either.
